Welcome to the EPSILON Chapter Grand Catalogue (Membership Directory), internet version. Of 800+ men and women who pledged the APhiO House since 1951 at the University of the East, Claro M. Recto campus when the chapter started to take shape from initial extension efforts. There are close to 200 living 'initiates' listed since the website's debut in 2001. The list of names and pictures collected for the gallery started to show on the world wide web upon introduction in 2001. Recently created 'IN MEMORIAM' Album is a separate listing for deceased Epsilon initiates and transfer members. In Memoriam album is distinguishable by a thumbnail image of a Black jacket adorned with the Alpha Phi Omega Coat of Arms insignia underneath it are Greek letter fonts representing Epsilon. Epsilon alumni, alumnae and/or active member's Bio-sketch are quickly searchable using a member's name, Pledge Class or initiation year. For example, Bro. Evaristo Sibayan, '52 (1st G.C.) Barry Sibayan rushed APO in '52 Charter Pledge class. ~ ~ ~ So called 'Affiliates' [wait, wait,...aren't we all 'APO affiliates' when officially accepted into the circle?] appropriately termed Transfer Members by APO-USA are easily recognizable using a home chapter letter(s), pledge class or initiation year. The full chapter name or Greek letter(s) [and, take note, there are 14 Greek letters commonly found in the English Alphabet namely: A (Alpha), B (Beta), E (Epsilon), Z (Zeta), H (Eta), I (Iota), K (Kappa), M (Mu), N (Nu), O (Omicron), P (Rho), T (Tau), Y (Upsilon), and, X (Chi). In contrast, there are ten (10) Greek letters (fonts) not available in the English alphabet. These letters are Gamma, Delta, Theta, Lambda, Xi, Pi, Sigma, Phi, Psi, and Omega. Easily identify a 'Transfer Member' using his/her full name. For example: Bro. Marvin Gonong (H '67). Bro. Laurante Valera (Gamma '68). Every Alpha Phi Omega initiate that transfers his/her enrollment to the U.E., C.M. Recto campus desirous of being active is classified today as a Transfer Member after his/her APO credentials are authenticated and fully satisfied other relevant chapter and/or APO requirements. In APO-USA, an official Transfer Form along with membership dues are required by the National Office before any Tranfer Member or "Affiliate" status becomes official or is National HQ certified. APO Philippines does not keep track, efficiently records as well as systematically collect dues through a chapter treasurer or the Membership VP thus dues collection are not enforced effectively.
